Composition
Per tablet.
Pancreatin 170 mg, corresponding to 5500 U.(F.I.P.) amylase, 6500 U.(F.I.P.) lipase, 400 U.(F.I.P.) protease.
Dimethylpolysiloxane 80 mg.
 
Indications
Meteorism, e.g. in aerophagia, in pancreatic insufficiency, in hepatic biliary, gastric and intestinal disorders. Post operative meteorism, flatulence, gastro-cardiac (Roemheld) syndrome. Preparation for the radiography of the abdomen in meteorism (diagnostic procedures involving the biliary ducts and the kidneys, radiography of the lumbar segment of the vertebral column and of the pelvis).
 
Contraindications
Not to be used by patients who suffer from acute pancreatitis.
 
Side Effects / Precautions / Warnings
None. General or intestinal side effects have never been observed. Neither of general nature nor on the part of the digestive tract nor even after long-term administration. The preservative (Parabene) could cause reactions in patients who are allergic to this preservative.
 
Dosage and Administration
One-two coated tablets with meals without chewing.
X-ray preparation: during 2 days before X-ray examination: 2 tablets, three to four times daily and 2 tablets on the morning of the examination on an empty stomach.
