Composition
Dydrogesterone.
 
Indications
Treatment of progesterone deficiencies such as: dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, secondary amenorrhea, irregular cycles, functional bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, threatened and habitual abortion associated with proven progesterone deficiency, infertility due to luteal insufficiency. To counteract the effects of unopposed estrogen on the endometrium (HRT).
 
Contraindications
No contraindications are known.
 
Side Effects / Precautions / Warnings
There are no special antidotes for overdosage and treatment should be symptomatic. In some patients breakthrough bleeding may occur.
 
Dosage and Administration
Varies from 10 mg to 40 mg per day and depends on the indication for which it is prescribed. Package insert contains full prescribing information.
